I also do REPRODUCTIONS of famous painters of the past. My all time favorite is Vincent Van Gogh. I stare and stare at his works. What goes through my mind is something like this: “How could a human being have it in him to look at the world around him so differently, uniquely ? “

Van Gogh sold only a single painting in his lifetime and never got to see how it changed the world. Today a single canvas of his goes for millions of dollars !!  Besides enjoying his works I read and read a lot about Vincent Van Gogh – and his younger brother, who supported him all his life. A life that ended when he was barely 30 years old—his dear brother Theo following soon, barely 6 months later.
